We All Grow

You may have gotten a glimpse on our Instagram account of some of our favorite moments from the We All Grow conference we attended the first weekend of March. #WeAllGrow is a unique Latina influencer and creative entrepreneur network that comes together once a year to bring women together who are like minded and wanting to share their dreams, knowledge, and success stories.

Day 1: One of the best parts of the summit was the friendships we made while we were there. On Registration day, we met Valentina an awesome girl from Miami with style that looks like it was taken right out of a Nylon magazine. Her fun energy and passion for fashion sparked a connection that we knew would go beyond our time spent together over the next 3 days. And just like that, we became great friends! Watch out Miami, we’re coming for you very soon! 🏝

We also met two awesome Texans, Ale and Lulu, who are a duo like us! It’s rare that we meet a duo, so that was super awesome!

After having mingled for a bit we went back home to freshen up for our red carpet appearance. 😉

When we came back in the evening, we attended the Neutrogena fashion show where we fangirled over Eiza Gonzalez and all the trendy looks of the night. After the show, we built up the courage to strut our stuff down the catwalk.

Looking back, we remember how shy we both were to even be in front of the camera. Never in our minds would we have imagined that we would be in company of such amazing women and growing our following everyday. Granted, we weren’t the models in the show, but walking down the runway was an “ah ha” moment that one day could come true! If you like our looks Cristina’s jumpsuit is from Lulu’s and Elissa’s is from F21 (similar here).

The drinks were flowing and latinas were dancing and singing to reggaeton, it was a perfect night!

Day 2: This was probably our favorite day (except for the mild hangover we might have had in the morning). We knew there would be swag, but oh my goodness we were so overwhelmed with how many goodies we received on day 2. We began the day with a Neutrogena makeup class and were greeted with a collection of their latest products. This somewhat surprised us since we had already received a full beauty tote (of their skincare line) during registration. Cristina was most excited about the light up vanity mirror as she had been meaning to buy one, and we even got a compact size too!

In this pic here, is another great friend we made, Nia! She is Peruvian 🇵🇪 like Elissa so obviously there was an instant connection. Check out her blog here!

We did it all from getting our lips done by Laura Sanchez at the Colgate booth, to meeting with industry professionals that were interested in helping us grow! There were several breakout sessions to choose from and since the event mainly focused on entrepreneurs and influencers, we chose the classes that best fit our interests. The knowledge that was shared and the stories that we heard were so helpful and inspiring. This day was a great reminder of the importance of perseverance and following our dreams. 🌟

We of course took advantage of all the photo ops. 📸 If you liked our looks from this day, here is what we wore. Elissa wore a white top, high waisted jeans and her cozy coat, which she will be showing you how to style for a more sophisticated look in the next blog post. 👀Cristina’s look was focused around her palazzo striped pants that have been poppin up as one of the newest trends lately. She paired that with leather boot and a jacket (similar here) over a turtleneck.

Later that night, we decided to go live on Instagram for the first time to share all our goodies. It was really fun and appreciate all the support from those who tuned in! We definitely plan on going live on our IG more often.

Day 3: Throughout the whole weekend, especially on the third day, we were reminded of the importance of being proud of our Latino heritage. For those of you who didn’t know, Elissa is half Peruvian and half Chinese, and grew up in Peru. Cristina was born here in Cali, and her parents are 100% Mexican.

The stories that were shared with us this weekend, we're empowering and we realized the responsibility we have to be involved in our communities. It was after this experience when the summit’s message really sunk in, WHEN ONE GROWS, WE ALL GROW 👯‍

If you liked these looks here is what we wore. Elissa wore a blush ruffled sweater with white pants and to add a pop of color she paired it with a blue tote bag. This was her first time wearing these heels out, thank goodness they were comfy.

Cristina wore her Christmas gift from her boo 💋: these awesome thigh highs! She finished the look with a sweater dress (similar here), leopard coat, and can't forget the crossbody bag.

To seal it with a bang💥 we had a girls night out in Hollywood!

We will definitely be attending next year’s conference and hope to see you guys there! 💞
