PUBLIC DISPLAY OF APPAREL

Coachella 2017

One word to describe Coachella: INTENSE. This year I decided to venture myself and see what Coachella was about. Even though I only knew like twenty percent of the artists performing, I knew it would be a hell of an experience: major heat, great music (combined with crazy crowds), amazing food (the rosΓ© popsicles were one of the highlights of my weekend), and most importantly, very cool fashion.

To kick off the weekend, I wore my favorite outfit: a crop top, high slit maxi skirt, lace up sandals, hat, and super handy backpack. Seriously, it was perfect for this. I was able to carry all the essentials: phone, water bottles, wallet, sunnies, portable charger, handkerchief, kleenex, bandaids, and it all fit in that tiny thing! If you guys plan on attending next year I would recommend to take all of this plus a light blanket! I took one everywhere, and sat as much as I could without worrying about dirtying my clothes.

I also glammed myself up with some gems and was very proud of the result 😊. I usually am very simple with  my makeup, but when I saw other people using them the previous weekend, I knew I wanted to do it myself! I ordered my gems from Amazon, links here and here .

Lovin’ the crazy art installations! Although, these look a bit phallic to me….πŸ˜›

For the second day, I opted for a very comfortable outfit, as I was staying there the whole day. The main headliner that night was Lady Gaga and I forsure was not missing it. I got a super comfortable two piece from SheIn and paired it with sneakers. On Saturday it was also the hottest out of all days (100Β°F), so I put my hair up in a braid.

Lastly for day three, I went with an outfit we featured in the video we just released. I am still obsessed with off the shoulder tops and buckle belts, and think they look great for festivals. I paired them with short and booties (I chose to use different shoes everyday in case my feet hurt) and again wore my backpack. I took it easy, since the two previous days made me feel really exhausted.

After this weekend I realized being a festival babe takes a lot of energy. I am still debating whether I could do this every year, but overall had a great experience. Hope this post helps with inspiration for future festival looks!
